3. User Accounts

You may use basic features without an account. Creating an account via Google Sign-In gives you access to chemistry history tracking and personalized features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically collect data from our website without permission.
• Upload malicious content, spam, or harmful files.

5. User Content

When you submit pool photos for diagnosis or chemistry readings, you retain ownership of your content. Photos submitted for AI analysis are processed in real-time and not stored. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing our services.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding on SkimSmart are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. The pool care tips, algorithms, and recommendation engine are proprietary.

7. Third-Party Links and Products

SkimSmart contains links to third-party websites, including Amazon product listings and local store promotions. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Product recommendations may include affiliate links for which we earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

8. Calendar Subscriptions

Our calendar feed generates maintenance events based on weather forecasts and your schedule preferences. Events are informational and automatically refresh. Weather data accuracy depends on third-party forecast providers. We are not responsible for inaccurate weather predictions or missed maintenance windows.

9. Advertising

SkimSmart displays advertisements through Google AdSense and direct partnerships with local pool supply stores. Sponsored content and tip cards are clearly labeled. Ad content does not constitute our endorsement of any product or service.

10. Limitation of Liability
